Got Bubbles?
How do you clean 2 kids at once? Bribe them with bubbles. It always works to get everyone in the tub at the same time at our house. How fun is that? Finley slips under from time to time, but she always pops back up. Grayson calls it Finley-Fishing. Who doesn't love a bubble bath?

Take me out to the Ballgame....
What an exciting couple of weeks we have had with the beginning of Grayson's first baseball games. Yes, that is our team in the neon orange t-shirts with the big orange "L" on their foreheads on the center of their hats!! Can you believe that. Somebody apparently was not thinking when they made those hats. Thank goodness most of the kids are 5 years old and do not know what having a big "L" on your forehead means (Losers). Oh well, at least the parents have something to laugh about. The games are what I would call energized chaos at times, some forget to run when they hit the ball or when a teammate hits the ball and they are on base. Some are day dreaming, some are dancing, some are picking clovers, others are watching airplanes, but boy do they have fun. And Yes, they actually keep score. However, Grayson's only question after his first game was not, "Who won?", but "Did you get any good pictures?" That's definitely Greg's boy!!

Beach (Easter) Bunnies
Here are our Easter "Beach" Bunnies. After all that egg hunting, I felt the kids needed a change of scenery. So mom and I loaded up the kids and went on an adventure at the beach. It was nice to get out and get some fresh, although salty, air. We played in the sand (and water), dug some holes, and feed some seagulls. On the way home we stopped for burgers and ice cream. It's not a day at the beach with out ice cream. Thanks mom, the kids and I had a ball. :)
Easter Eggstravaganza
Today is Easter Sunday. We have had a very full day. The kids woke up early (as usual) and found Easter Baskets in the dining rooms. So excited to eat Easter Candy before they had their breakfast. Then Church, a big traditional lunch with some of our friends, then the Beach. Yes, that's right, I said beach.(see above post for pictures) On Easter!! It was slightly breezy, but sunny and almost warm. The water, however, was freezing. But do you think that stopped my kids from getting in it. No. They did not want to leave, just like always, but mom and I promised them some ice cream on the way home.
On Saturday we had a great, big egg hunt at our church, with lots of eggs (all stuffed with candy), Easter stories and hot dogs with chips, and Easter cookies. Grayson and our next-door-neighbor Mark had a wonderful time opening their eggs to see what surprise was waiting inside. Also we had a small street egg hunt that Grayson was more than happy to participate in. Any egg hunting to be done and Grayson is your man. Great, more candy. Some of the candy will surely make its way to my office tomorrow night. Happy Easter Everybody.
