Party Time Times Two
We went to a wonderful party today at our friends house. Twin girls, Brooke and Jenna, that turned 5. What excitement there was. There was a pony named Ms. Fancy, a blowup-bouncy-thing and a hayride in the horse trailer. Also a red Lady Bug Pinata, which was the theme of the party. How Divine. There were lots of treats, drinks, pizza and of course cake. Grayson comes up to the screened-in-porch with his cake and punch to sit in the shade with some of the parents, and as he sits down he tells Jennifer, "Ah, this is the life." Too Funny little man. Happy Birthday Brooke and Jenna. We love you both. Thanks for inviting us, we had a blast.

The Price of Kindergarten
What does it cost to go to Kindergarten? 3 shots. That's what it cost Grayson at his
5-year-old-physical for Kindergarten. He was so brave for the first half of the appointment and then total meltdown when the nurse brought in the shots. After I wrestled him down on the table (it was sort of like Saturday night Wrestling), the nurse jabbed him with 3 shots, quicker than you can blink-an-eye. Then as he was limping and dragging his leg to the exit (very dramatic-like) he says, "Okay, let's go get pizza."

The Jungle Room
Our next-door-neighbor Campbell invited us to his birthday party at Jungle Rapids. They have an indoor jungle themed room with nets, tall slides, ball pits and inflatable trampolines. This was Finley's first visit there and she had a blast. The only time she sat still was for pizza and cupcakes, or course. Grayson is an old pro and has been there several times. He always loves it to.
Happy Birthday Campbell, We had a great time.
School Daze
A couple weeks ago we went to Grayson's Kindergarten Orientation Class at his new school. He was very pumped. They took all the up-and-coming Kindergartners on a tour of the Kindergarten Rooms, Gym and lunchroom. He also got to see the school buses and found the one he will be riding on. The bus stop is a couple of blocks from our house, but it gets there at 7:15 am. Yuck!! There was not any anxiety or tears, he hoped up and got in line and looked like he was just ready to bust with excitement. Let's hope he keeps that attitude.
