Star Spangled Beach
We went to Carolina Beach on Friday night, July 3rd, for fireworks, knowing that downtown on July 4th would be very crowded. We had a splendid time. By chance, we met up with a couple that has recently moved to our neighborhood and also comes to our church. Also we ran into about 15 other people that we knew. How unusual. There were probably thousands of people there and we saw several of our friends. The Fireworks were grand, the company was awesome, the beach was breath taking. On Saturday night we went to a block party at a neighbors house, who has a pool. We had a potluck cookout with wonderful food, friends and (illegally transported) fireworks from down south. Thanks for inviting us Anita and Rick.
Thank God we live in a country where we can worship freely, and lots of unintelligent, dim-witted people have freedom of speech!
Thanks to all our service men and women for fighting for our freedom. May we NEVER forget that Freedom isn't Free. Amen
